Depression: Feel Like Yourself Again
A program designed to help pharmacists improve outcomes in the treatment of depression
Effective communication is a critical component of care, especially in patients suffering from depression. This session builds a foundation for effective communication by helping pharmacists appreciate the effects of depression on patients’ cognitive ability. Armed with a better understanding of the depressed patient’s mindset, pharmacists will then learn how to identify drug-related problems and intervene with patients and physicians using effective communication techniques.
