GREETINGS FROM THE HONOURARY CONFERENCE CHAIR
The 2010 Manitoba Pharmacy Conference is approaching! This year’s theme is A Changing Climate: Emerging Opportunities. We have a great conference lined up this year designed to address many of the current issues concerning pharmacists.
As you may know, the Manitoba Pharmacy Conference is hosted by the Manitoba Society of Pharmacists, the Manitoba Pharmaceutical Association and the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists, MB Branch. Our goal is to offer key educational programs to Manitoba pharmacists which are relevant in today’s practice.
Along with the many continuing education sessions offered during the conference weekend, there will be numerous opportunities to socialize and be entertained. The weekend begins with the Exhibitor’s Wine and Cheese and the presentation of the Young Leaders Awards.

The Annual Awards Banquet will be held Saturday night, with the Silent Auction in support of the Pharmacists at Risk Program. The banquet offers an opportunity to honour colleagues and the hard work they have done for the profession. The Sunday afternoon Manitoba Pharmaceutical Association Awards Luncheon will honour exceptional pharmacists as well as the 25 and 50 year pin recipients.
