Less than 100 surveys to go! The response rate has been very good and to date we have received 208 surveys. The highest number of responses ever received was 305 in 2004 and we would like to achieve that number again in 2010. We encourage all MSP members to complete the survey and return it at their earliest convenience. The data derived from this survey provides the most reliable reference for negotiating compensation for pharmacists’ services and the more surveys returned, the more accurate the results. The surveys can be mailed to MSP in the self addressed envelope that is provided or faxed to (204) 956-6686.
Please do not send by both mail and fax.

The Professional Relations Committee is pleased to announce that the Honorable Theresa Oswald, Minister of Health, has proclaimed March 1-7, 2010, Pharmacist Awareness Week. This year’s theme is Meet Your Manitoba Pharmacist – Your Partner in Health, and is an opportunity to remind your patients of the important role you play in managing their health. - The Canadian Diabetes Association - Wellness Information Session - The Canadian Diabetes Association is offering the Wellness Information Session “Finding Balance: Mastering challenges, changes and choices for living with diabetes”. The session will take place on April 24th, 2010 at the Winnipeg Evangelical Free Church, 500 Lagimodiere Blvd. and will feature Chris Everhardus, RN, CDE from St. Boniface Hospital.
