- The Nomination Deadline for the Award of Merit has been extended to Monday, Feb. 9th. The Award of Merit is bestowed upon an active member of the Manitoba Society of Pharmacists in recognition for active participation and promotion contributing to the benefit of the Manitoba Society of Pharmacists and the Profession of Pharmacy. - Annual Wage & Benefits Survey – The 35th Annual Survey of Income and Benefits was sent out to members last week. We would like to encourage all MSP members to complete the survey and return it at their earliest convenience. A change in policy at MPhA has resulted in approximately 200 less surveys being circulated to Manitoba pharmacists this year. Given that the sample size has diminished it is more important than ever that members submit completed surveys.
The data derived from this survey provides the most reliable reference for negotiating compensation for pharmacists’ services. The surveys can be mailed to MSP in the self addressed envelope that was provided or faxed to (204) 956-6686. Please do not send by both mail and fax. The deadline to submit completed surveys is March 13th, 2009.
