In This Issue: 1. MPhA H1N1 Pandemic Preparedness Resource Kit
- As you are aware by now, the MPhA has developed a Pandemic Preparedness Resource Kit which will support the health care system, in the event of an emergency. At this time, there is diminished concern of a possible pandemic, however pharmacists are encouraged to review the information available including a letter from MPhA President Randall Stephanchew, and the MPHA Pandemic Preparedness Resource Kit. MSP members should also be aware that Manitoba Health and the Society signed a Joint Policy Statement which provides clarity to the appropriate days supply the Provincial Government will reimburse for through provincial drug programs. This document is intended to prevent any unnecessary confusion during a period of emergency.
