1.    Town Hall Meeting and Rural Manitoba Videoconference (2.0 CEU’s)

Time:      7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

PricewaterhouseCoopers' (PwC) will be facilitating a Town Hall Meeting for all Manitoba Pharmacists regarding the Bill 41 Regulations on Wednesday, September 16, 2009 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM (CDT) at the Sam Cohen Auditorium, St. Boniface Research Centre. The Town Hall Meeting will provide all Manitoba Pharmacists an opportunity to participate in open discussions regarding the most promising options to build consensus around the Bill 41 Regulations.

The options that will be discussed at the Town Hall Meeting will reflect all of the research, analysis, and consultations carried out to date by PwC, including the key outcomes from the four Bill 41 Regulations focus groups that PwC will facilitate between August 25th and 28th. Additional information regarding the Town Hall Meeting will be posted to MPhA’s website and MSP’s website on or before September 11, 2009.

Videoconference sites will be available at the following locations:

Arborg, Ashern, Brandon, Churchill, Dauphin, Flin Flon, Killarney, Neepawa, Notre Dame de Lourdes, Norway House, Portage la Prairie, Roblin, Russell, St. Pierre, Steinbach, Swan River, The Pas, Thompson, Winkler

This program is designated an accredited learning activity by The Manitoba Pharmaceutical Association for a maximum of 2.0 CEUs (MPhA File No. 29192M) for pharmacists in Manitoba.
