1. MSP members are reminded that an MPhA Special General Meeting (SGM) has been called for Sunday, May 4th at 2:00 p.m.  The purpose of the SGM is “to openly debate, consider and/or amend the Draft Regulations to reflect the input and consensus of the membership, and to use a double envelope method voting process to ensure a secret ballot”.  MPhA members can attend the SGM at the following locations:

• The Victoria Inn, 1808 Wellington Ave., Winnipeg
• Canad Inns, Brandon
• The Lakeview Resort, Gimli, MB (Hannah’s Hall)
• Boundary Trails Health Centre- Winkler (Boardroom)

2. The 2008 Manitoba Pharmacy Conference set a new attendance record.  The Conference Planning Committee would like to have your thoughts on the conference and encourages you to complete the Program Evaluation Form that is available on the conference website at www.mbpharmacyconference.com. Planning for next year’s conference will start shortly and the Planning Committee would like to make it the best that it can be.
