MSP Member Update Vol. 6 No. 2
July 6, 2007
In This Issue:
1. Online Questionnaire – Bill 41 Regulations –Prescriptions and Records
2. MSP Membership Renewals
1. The first four questionnaires which addressed Pharmacy Manager Qualifications, Pharmacist and Pharmacy Insurance, Pharmacy Technicians, and Pharmacist Profile have been concluded and the results are available on the MSP Website. The number of responses received in response to the most recent questionnaire is approximately 25% less than the first questionnaire. The summer months are clearly not the ideal time to consult with our members on such an important matter, but we are given no choice.
We encourage members to respond to the current questionnaire which addresses issues related to prescription and record requirements. This questionnaire is particularly important given that all pharmacists on a daily basis will be impacted by any new regulatory requirements.
All questionnaires have been developed with the knowledge that pharmacists have busy lives and will respond in greater numbers if the questionnaires are user-friendly and take only a few minutes to complete. Each questionnaire also allows members to provide detailed feedback if they wish.
The entire process occurs on-line. There is no need to fax or mail responses.
The MSP Board of Directors needs to hear from licensed pharmacists so that they can consider your interests when they are developing their positions. Take a moment to complete the questionnaire, and let us know your opinions. Responses are welcome until 12:00 p.m. on July 10th, 2007.
