In This Issue: The Manitoba Chapter of Osteoporosis Canada is hosting the following two events: 1. Public Forum -Support Your Bones – An update on treatment of Osteoporosis This event is open to the public and will focus on new treatments and the new vertebroplasty. The Event will be held on February 9th at 7:00pm at the Norwood Hotel, 112 Marion St. in Winnipeg. To download a poster to display in your pharmacy Click Here. 2. Cheese and Wine Fundraiser This event will assist the Manitoba Chapter continue its public educational endeavors. It will feature a sampling of the wide variety of cheeses from Bothwell, Manitoba’s premier cheese maker and a wine tasting done by Banville and Jones Wine Merchants. Tickets for the event are $50.00 each and a charitable receipt of $25.00 will be issued. Corporate tables are available as well. The event also features a silent auction where you can bid on your favorite items.
