1. The Code of Ethics is being revised as part of the Legislation Proclamation Component Development Project (LPCDP)and the changes are substantial. Statement XI of the Code of Ethics addresses advertising and will allow for advertising of professional fees. MSP continues to work cooperatively with MPhA and stakeholders to achieve an outcome that will be acceptable to the membership prior to the MPhA AGM on April 21, 2012. The MSP Board of Directors would like to thank all members who responded to our request for feedback on this issue.  

2. MPhA is hosting a Special General Meeting on March 20th to discuss the progress of the LPCDP. The meeting will include project updates, discussion of the revised Code of Ethics, and consultation of the first two Practice Directions. MSP encourages all members to participate. The meeting will take place at the Samuel Cohen Auditorium at the Saint Boniface Research Centre, 351 Tache Avenue. Videoconferencing and webcasting are also available.
