Michelle graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Manitoba in spring of 2003.  Since graduation Michelle has been the Pharmacy Manager of Munroe Pharmacy, her family owned independent pharmacy. In 2003, Michelle was the recipient of the A. Langley Jones Leadership Award for her commitment and involvement in community pharmacy. In 2004, Michelle was the recipient of the Merck Frosst Young Leader Award. Michelle has been a board member since 2005 and is currently Honorary Secretary Treasurer. She has served on the Government Relations Committee, Economics Committee and is currently the chair of the Pharmacare Committee.  As well, she is on the steering committee for the development of standard pharmacy contracts in Manitoba and a member of the Bill 41 Regulations Steering Committee with consultants PricewaterhouseCoopers. Michelle is a strong advocate for changing pharmacists’ reimbursement model, and promoting pharmacists cognitive services to advance the profession.
