Elmer Kuber

Elmer Kuber is currently Vice-President of the MSP Board of Directors. He was elected to the board in 2007 and has served as CPhA liaison to the MSP board since 2001. He is MSP’s representative to the Canadian Pharmacists Benefits Association and is Board Chair and President of CPBA. He is also the President of the Canadian Academy of the History of Pharmacy. Elmer graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia in 1972. He completed a University of Toronto hospital pharmacy residency in Ottawa. He has a Master's in Health Administration, and a Pharm.D. He is a Certified Health Executive, a Fellow and Diplomat in Health Care Administration and a Fellow of The American Society of Consultant Pharmacists. Elmer has worked in community pharmacy, hospital pharmacy and long term care. He currently practices community pharmacy at Stonewall Pharmacy, and has a consulting practice in health planning and physician recruitment. Elmer has a long record of volunteering in health care, community service and fraternal organizations. His wife Linda (Ediger) is a 1972 Manitoba Pharmacy Graduate. They have three daughters Emma, Kathryn and Magda and four grandchildren, Conner, Andrew, Elizabeth and Natalie. Elmer's personal interests include jazz, model railroading, and trying to play the ukulele.
